Fall Colors Mixed Media Artwork

What you can do with the piece of cardboard, dripped with hot glue, watermelon seeds and baby wipes, stained with paint?

Sometimes, when you are working with the old glue gun, you are getting perfect texture base to make your mixed media project.
I started with covering all the piece with gesso. Then added graphite and peach orange aqua sprays from Polkadot, amber pigment IZINK from Aladine and Yodeling Yellow magical shaker from Lindystampgang.
Next step was to add a flax rope and plastic mesh. Then I decided to make a flower from beautiful colorful baby wipe remained from my other art project. Just cut three circles, folded and stapled them.

It looked like I needed to add purple and more yellow, so I added more magical shaker powder and purple silk paint, cos I had no any other liquid spray paint at that moment.

As it was autumn art project, there should be raindrops attached. Dried watermelon seeds was the perfect way to add more texture to the artwork. I covered them with gesso, glued them on and then coloured with golden acrylic paint. Then I added gold to the flower and made some golden strokes here and there.

And, of course, there was splashes of gesso should be attached, so I started when everything was slightly wet and white gesso turned in to the beautiful yellow. I added more splashes when my project was dry and then covered everything with the Art Potch from Hobby Line.
